The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 50th anniversary of the West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA) has called on underwriters and stakeholders to see the conference as a unique opportunity to make a lasting impression on the Nigerian market.

The WAICA 2023 edition, which provides the opportunity for underwriters in Nigeria and other West African countries to discuss economic opportunities, takes off today.

The association provides a platform for sharing business information and cross-fertilisation of ideas. It also provides the platform for knowledge sharing and amongst members networking.

The chairman of LOC, Mrs. Bola Odukale, who is also the deputy chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), said the conference will be a forum to share ideas on how to grow the West African insurance industry.
