Versatile and Fast rising Movie Actress cum Producer/ Director Yetunde
Akinlade who is also nicknamed Yetunde Ologo and Yetti Mama by her admirers
has added another feather to her cap when she was honoured by the Concerned
Journalist Group on Monday 8th April, 2019 during a Movie shoot in Lagos.
While Presenting the Award, the National Coordinator of Concerned
Journalist Group who is also the Convener of the International Community
Conference and Icons Award (ICCIA) , Mr. Fredrick Fadipe described the
Actress as a dedicated and focused cast when delivering her roles in the
make believe Industry but also admonished her and other Nigerian Movie
producer to produce Movie that can impact positively on the present
generation and those yet unborn with morale values.
Receiving the Award as “Most Promising Movie Actress of the year” , Yetunde
Akinlade described the accolade as one that will always encourage her to do
more and strive for the best whenever and wherever, She also used the
opportunity to call on relevant authorities in Nigeria and South Africa to
find a lasting solution to the xenophobic issue happening presently in
faraway South Africa because we are all one big Family irrespective of
Colour,Tribe or ethnic barriers.
According Yetty Mama who was in South Africa last year to shoot some short
skits with Shanowole Roberts Production, most Nigerians are living in fear
at South Africa where they’ve been for Years and spent better part of their
lives. She is presently working on a Movie “THE WRONG PATH” which will hit
cinemas around November this year while thanking her teaming fans for their
encouragement.
