World Bank Country Director to Nigeria, Shubham Chaudhuri, said the institution would work with Mbah to achieve his dream of increasing the speech of economic growth, which he said aligned with the mission of the bank.

In his goodwill, British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Jonny Baxter, said the country’s relationship with Nigeria is built on shared interest, which covers the strategic direction of the state. According to him, the state’s agro products, such as cashew, would benefit immensely from the United Kingdom’s duty-free programme.

Country Director of AfDB, Lamin Barrow, called on the state to seek support from Africa50, a programme that focuses on high-impact national and regional projects in the energy, transport, ICT and water sectors. He promised that the regional bank would work with the state to de-risk its market ahead of next year’s diaspora forum.

In like manner, Eric Monchu-Intong, a Cameroonian and Regional Chief Operating Officer, Afreximbank, promised the bank would work directly with the government to prepare bankable projects that could unlock funding. He went on memory lane, saying he had strong reasons to support the state to achieve the ambitious economic goals.

Before the Diaspora Forum, the state is expected to firm up the commercial viability of key projects, reduce the political risks through institutional and legislative frameworks and identify its routes to market. Citizens and residents are waiting to see how resolute Mbah is in his commitment to turn around their fortunes in the coming years.
