‎From the quiet streets of Baranawa in Kaduna State to international recognition as a faith leader and humanitarian, Apostle Dr. Uloma Esther Ojei has built a life defined by service, education, and spiritual transformation.
‎ Apostle Ojei wears many hats author, accountant, televangelist, and educator but it is her passion for people that has made her a household name. In 2001, just after her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), she took the unusual step of investing her savings not in personal comfort but in education. With those funds, she established a nursery and primary school that has since grown into a secondary school.
‎ The institution is particularly known for offering free education to children of widows and families who cannot afford to send their children to school.
‎. Her conviction that faith must extend beyond the pulpit led her to found Faith Giants Fellowship in 2008. Designed as an interdenominational Radical Revival Prayer Altar movement, the fellowship quickly attracted followers across denominational lines. Complementing this was her creation of the Humanity Development Initiative, a non-governmental organization that connects the wealthy with grassroots communities. Through this platform, she has championed poverty alleviation and capacity-building programs.
‎ These acts of service did not go unnoticed. In 2011, she received the prestigious United Nations Peace Ambassador Award for her globally recognized philanthropic activities. Two years later, an American university awarded her a doctorate in Theology, further cementing her position as a respected faith leader with global influence.
‎ Not one to slow down, Apostle Ojei continued building new platforms for empowerment.
‎ In 2015, she launched Woman Build Your Home, a ministry aimed at empowering women as prayer warriors and spiritual leaders.
‎ Today, the program reaches more than half a million people online, offering encouragement and guidance to women across nations. By 2017, she expanded her outreach through Ark In The House, an initiative that encourages the establishment of small prayer groups on every street, with the vision of creating a worldwide network of faith communities.
‎ Her work is anchored at Gilgal Mountain City, also known as “Jerusalem in Nigeria.” The prayer camp, which features sights modeled after the Holy Land, serves as the international headquarters for her ministry. It is here that Apostle Ojei, fondly called “Mother in Israel,” continues to nurture believers and spiritual leaders.
‎Beyond prayer, she has invested in leadership development for ministry workers. Through initiatives like Incubate Women for Women in Ministry and Solemn Assembly for People in Ministry, she mentors pastors, women leaders, and young ministers, raising what she calls “an army of prayer giants, faith giants, and financial giants.”
‎ From her early days in Kaduna to her current position on the global stage, Apostle Uloma Ojei has shown that a life of faith and service can transform communities. Her story is one of courage, vision, and relentless dedication to humanity. And as she often tells her followers, the journey of raising giants in prayer, faith, and finance has only just begun.
