Newly elected ward and local government executives of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) party have been urged to prioritise unity, inclusiveness, and grassroots development as they assume office across the country.

In a congratulatory message, Hon. Omosuyi Olumide Abayomi commended the emergence of the new officials, describing their election as a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party members.

He noted that their victory goes beyond personal achievement, stressing that it represents a call to higher responsibility and purposeful leadership within the party structure.

According to him, the new executives are expected to strengthen internal cohesion, deepen participation at the grassroots, and promote the collective interest of members.

“As you assume office, you must be guided by wisdom, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility to foster inclusiveness and build a stronger party,” he said.

Abayomi expressed confidence that the new leadership would usher in progress and renewed hope, while also driving growth and stability at both ward and local government levels.

He added that effective leadership at the grassroots remains critical to the overall success of the party, urging the executives to work collaboratively in advancing its goals.

The party chieftain wished the new officials a successful tenure, expressing optimism that their leadership would translate into tangible achievements and strengthened structures across all levels.
