The Fusion of Aye Development Associations (FOADA) has commended the Ondo State Government on the pronouncement of the White Paper on Chieftaincy matters in the State in which the Oba of Ode-Aye was elevated from a class B Oba to class A.
The president of the FOADA, Chief Henry Olatujoye, in a press statement made available to this medium yesterday expressed the association joy with the Kabiyesi, HRM Oba Williams Akinlade, Uyi Oba 1, the Halujagbo of Aye Kingdom, the Ijamas and Chiefs, past Presidents and Exco members of FOADA and the entire good people of Aye Kingdom on the long-awaited cheering news in Ikale land.
The president extended appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN who in his God-given wisdom and for his desire for excellence, peace, and tranquillity in the state, for picking up the report of Hon. Justice C.E.T. Ajama Judicial Commission of Inquiry on Chieftaincy Matters in Ondo State and implemented it after a ministerial committee recommendation.
according to him, Mr Governor sir, you have displayed the true omoluwabi in you, and may your lights never go dim.
In his prayer to the Kabiyesi, HRM Oba Williams Akinlade, Uyi Oba 1, the Halujagbo of Aye Kingdom, said the reign of the king shall continue to witness more peace, progress, and development in the land.
