It is no more news of the ongoing crisis rocking the National Union of Road Transport Workers over some months now.

It is a known fact that Comrade Tajudeen Baruwa was democratically elected, adhering to the union statutes, national laws and ILO conventions.

A reliable source has confirmed that the Chief of Staff to the president Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and the minister of Labour Hon Lalong are taking sides with the illegal group led Tajudeen Agbede and MC Oluomo.

The two top government officials are the one encouraging these illegal group of individuals to conduct it’s own Delegates’ conference, both zonal and national to confirm legitimacy to their actions.

It is so sad that it was even Gbajabiamila, who gave this illegal group government support to hijack and forcefully took over the NURTW headquarters.

In a similar development, the minister of labour who is tasked to safeguard the right and interests of all labour unions has taken sides with these bullys and criminals.
