The Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office (NMCO) has been rated the best Digital Innovation of the Federal Government for the year.

The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA), a non-governmental body established by the order of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to manage Nigeria’s country code, presented the award to NMCO.

The Director-General of Mining Cadastre Office, Obadiah Simon Nkom, while receiving the award in Abuja, said the honour was a call for the office to forge ahead and be more committed to achieving its goal.

Nkom, in a statement by its Head of Press, Sade Fatoke, said: “The reward for hard work is always more work, I will say this award is a call for more dedication and commitment from NMCO.

“We will remain committed to professionalism and we will improve on this achievement and many more so that NMCO can be the gateway to the economy and revenue diversification.”
