His aircraft, designated Presidential 001, touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the capital at 9:50 p.m. on Monday, as confirmed by the State House media office.

Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by several top government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, among others.

President Tinubu’s journey commenced on Wednesday, April 2, when he departed Nigeria for Paris. He later traveled to London for the final leg of his tour, which concluded this past weekend.

Despite his time abroad, the Presidency assured that the President stayed actively engaged with crucial national matters, including issuing directives to security officials on emerging threats in some states.

Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed that a key focus of the visit was enhancing bilateral ties, with particular attention to regional security cooperation and economic development across Africa.
