Air Peace has taken delivery of its third Embraer 190-100AR aircraft in five months, as the airline deepens its fleet expansion strategy to strengthen operations within Nigeria’s aviation market.

A statement by the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo-Whiskey, said the latest addition would enhance operational capacity and support the airline’s efforts to meet increased passenger demand during the festive season and beyond.

The aircraft, registered 5N-CFM, arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 3:13 p.m. on Tuesday.

Configured with 99 seats—11 in business class and 88 in economy—the aircraft is designed to deliver a balance of comfort, efficiency and reliability for passengers.

Osifo-Whiskey said the Embraer 190-100AR is equipped with fuel-efficient engines and reduced carbon emissions, making it one of the more environmentally responsible aircraft in its category.

“We are pleased to welcome this modern aircraft into our growing fleet. The Embraer 190-100AR aligns with our operational objectives, combining efficiency with a passenger-friendly cabin,” he said.

According to him, the aircraft will support additional flight frequencies on key domestic and regional routes, particularly during the festive period, helping to improve schedule reliability, enhance connectivity and ease pressure on high-traffic routes.

He added that the deployment would translate into increased seat availability, greater flexibility and an improved travel experience for passengers at a time when travel demand peaks due to family reunions, business trips and tourism activities.

Osifo-Whiskey noted that the latest delivery underscores Air Peace’s commitment to deploying appropriately sized aircraft to serve both high-density and underserved routes, while maintaining service quality.
