The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) has called on the stakeholders to renew their confidence in the capability of the newly-revived Staco Insurance.
Speaking at the October 2022 edition of the year’s general meeting of the Lagos Area Committee of NCRIB, the Council’s President, Rotimi Edu, said the noticeable turnaround of the company under the new management led by Wale Benmore was enough credibility to attract brokers to the company.
Edu said it was characteristic of an organisation to have challenges but that it was important to put in place plans for a quick and strong recovery.
He said Staco was solid in the business of insurance, which had human capital rather than technical issues, and that with the new direction the confidence level of customers was moving northward for the company.
He said the volume of businesses being underwritten by the company in the short space of time of the revalidation of its license speaks volumes of the goodwill and confidence in the new board and management.
