The highly anticipated premiere of “The Smart Money Woman II” took place on

October 25, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria, is significant in celebrating  Nigeria’s creative industry.

At the premiere, Fegho Umunubo, Special Assistant to the President (OVP) on Digital and Creative Economy spoke about the government’s dedication to supporting the creative sector. He highlighted key initiatives like the iDICE funding, which provides essential financial support to both emerging and established creatives, emphasizing the importance of innovation in driving economic growth.

“The government is committed to nurturing our creative talents,” Fegho stated.

“Initiatives like iDICE funding are designed to empower creatives, ensuring they have the necessary resources to thrive in a competitive landscape. ‘The Smart Money Woman II’ is a perfect example of the creativity we aim to support.”
