A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Dr. Jide Martins Adewinle, has called on party members and stakeholders to support Prof. Dayo Faduyile in the forthcoming party election, describing him as a leader capable of advancing development, economic growth and the welfare of the people.
Adewinle made the appeal as preparations intensify for the election, urging party faithful to remain united and committed to the ideals of the APC.
According to him, the outcome of the election will play a significant role in shaping the future direction of the party and strengthening its capacity to deliver on its promises to the people.
“Let us all remember that the strength of every democracy lies in the choices of its people. As we prepare for the election, let us rally behind leadership that prioritises development, economic growth and the welfare of the people,” Adewinle said.
He expressed confidence in the APC’s ability to continue driving progress and national development, noting that unity among members remains critical to the party’s success.
“Under the banner of the APC, we can continue the journey toward a more united and prosperous Nigeria. The future is bright. The future is APC. Vote Prof. Dayo Faduyile,” he stated.
The APC stalwart also urged party members to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the election period and uphold the principles of internal democracy.
He reiterated the need for collective action and solidarity among members, stressing that the party’s strength lies in its ability to work together toward shared goals.
Adewinle further extended his goodwill message to the people of Ondo State and Nigerians at large, expressing optimism about the country’s future.
“Happy Election Week and God bless the good people of Ondo State and God bless Nigeria,” he added.
Political observers say the election is expected to test the cohesion of the party in the state, with stakeholders calling for a transparent and credible process that will further strengthen the APC ahead of future political engagements.
