‎The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in alliance with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Akoko North East, Ondo State, has confirmed Hon. Shola Jimoh as the party’s flag bearer for Ondo State House of Assembly seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.

‎The party described the affirmation of Jimoh’s candidacy as a major milestone for the PDP/APM political family in the Akoko North East, Noting that the move signals a renewed commitment to unity, grassroots mobilization and development-driven leadership.

‎ In a statement made available to supporters and party loyalists, the party said members were united, energized and prepared to pursue a people-oriented campaign focused on progress and inclusive governance.

‎ According to the statement, the emergence of Jimoh reflects the collective will of the people and provides a strong foundation for the party’s preparations toward the 2027 elections.

‎The party outlined its vision to champion purposeful leadership, infrastructural development and economic empowerment across communities within the constituency.

‎It also pledged to run an issue-based campaign anchored on unity, active engagement with grassroots communities and addressing the everyday challenges confronting residents.
‎The PDP/APM further called on party loyalists and supporters across Akoko North East intensify mobilization efforts and spread its message of hope and development ahead of the polls.

‎“Let us stand together, side by side, as we take this bold step forward for a greater tomorrow. Together, we are one team, one voice, and one unstoppable mission,” the statement added.
